About the Grampians
The Grampians National Park is located 250 kilometers West of Melbourne and was listed on the Australian National Heritage List on December 15th 2006 for its unique and outstanding natural beauty.
The annual rainfall is around 22 inches (560mm) per year, with temperatures ranging an average of 13 degrees in Winter, 20 degrees in Spring, 28 degrees in Summer and 21 degrees in Autumn.
The most dominant vegetation present in the national park is the eucalyptus tree.
